Thank you for your question. We test Mattermost extensively as part of our QA process. As such I have confidence the issue may be independent of the app itself.

One issue that I am aware of is on iOS regarding the entitlements in the Mobile Provisioning Profile.

Please take a look at your provisioning profile that you are signing the app with and ensure that it allows for app-groups it should have an entry similar to this in the Entitlements section

com.apple.security.application-groups: group.com.mattermost.xxxxx
